Tomorrow... tomorrow!!!

The semester will start tomorrow. I'm pondering about what will happen. I shall be getting more mentees under my program. New students had already registered earlier. Some students who failed in their prior program will start enrolling into mine.

I have to ensure that they will turn over a new leaf. It is a pity when you enter a university but in the end, you go out empty-handed. Some students have the knack to go on missing the whole semester only to re-emerge at the beginning of the semester, trying to be smart (I don't know if they REALLY want to study or just to waste their youthful moment).

Now I have to whip the crack (or is it the other way round?) this time. Can't give them the liberty to just come and go as they wish. It is after all, FOR their future. And I'm the Academic Adviser. I need to come up with something before they ROT.

God help me in my quest for the youth of the nation. I can't let my students fail. I need to make them realize how important this time of their life is. I am responsible for whatever they do. If they fail, first and foremost, I fail. I can't let them fail. I have to make them graduate, if not with flying colors, maybe just a bit of color will do, as long as THEY MAKE IT till the end.
